Born Sept. 13, 1909, in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late Sherman and Etta Naylor Osborne. She was retired from Palm Beach Co. after 40 years and had been a cook at Garrard County Hospital. She was the widow of Allie Murphy Sr.
Survivors include a son, Kyle Murphy of Lancaster; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Allie Murphy Jr., and a grandchild.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Spurlin Funeral Home by the Revs. Daryl Hodge and David Young. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.
