SELMA DOLLINGS IS SUMMONED BY DEATH HERE THIS MORNING
Due to an illness from which she had been a sufferer for many months, Mrs. Selma Alma Dollings, 50, wife of Frank Dollings and mother of James Otto Dollings and Frank Herman Dollings of this city, passed away early this morning at the family home. Her death was not unexpected as she had been in a critical condition for several days. Only her strong will power keeping her alive until today.
The deceased was a native of Newville, Glenn county*, where she was born January 22, 1882, the daughter of the late Sullivan and Jan Osborn, who settled in California in the fall of 1856. She was one of 13 children, 11 of whom are still living. She became the bride of Frank D. Dollings December 3, 1904.
The funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Fickert chapel. The Rev. George W. Morris, pastor of the Christian church, will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
The surviving brother and sisters are: Mrs. Eunice E. Hull, Red Bluff; Alfred Hilton Osborn and Mrs. May Belle Wheeler, Corning; John J. Osborn, Sullivan H. Osborn and Mrs. Jennie S. Oakes, all of Lowrey; Jesse M. Osborn, Berkeley; Earl D. Osborn, Stephen M. Osborn, Mrs. Mary H. Leveroney and Benton A. Osborn all of Red Bluff. - Transcribed by E.
