George Nelson Osborn, a life resident of Davenport, died Sunday morning at 523 West Twelfth Street following a two weeks' illness.
Born in Davenport July 3, 1861, he attended the public schools, and was married August 28, 1884, to Margaret Reddy in St. Mary's church. He was a plasterer by trade and a charter member of the Moose lodge. His wife died Jan. 25, 1931.
Surviving are four sons: George N., William C. and Harry of Davenport, and Andrew E., Los Angeles, CA; three daughters: Mrs. Julie McPherson and Mrs. Hugh Briceland, Davenport, and Miss Hazel Osborn, Rock Island; a brother, C. E. Osborn, Davenport and seven grandchildren.
The body was taken to Hill & Frederick's mortuary, where funeral services will be held
