Elizabeth Olson, 94, Rockford, died Wed., Feb. 12, 1997, in River Bluff Nursing Home. Born Sept. 9, 1902, in Stockholm, Sweden, daughter of Oscar and Edith Hellman Ekstedt. Married to Fred Olson in Chicago on Sept. 1, 1928. She was a professional seamstress for Marshall Field's and Bonwit Teller, remaining active at her profession all of her life. Member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church; 50-year member of Order of the Eastern Star and 50-year member of International Order of Svithiod.
Survivors include husband, Fred; daughter, Deanna (Richard) Hartenberg; granddaughters, Millisa (Michael) Jaycox, Megan and Marin Libey.
