Doris Aileen Bundy Oliver, was born Nov. 8, 1904, in Trenton, Neb, the daughter of Marion C. and Susie Bundy. She was called from this life on Nov. 26, 2010, in Pueblo, Colo, at the age of 106. Mrs. Oliver grew up and received her early education in Trenton, Neb. After high school, she enrolled in the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. It was there that she met Thomas E. Oliver, whom she married on Sept. 10, 1924, in Trenton, Neb. Mr. Oliver preceded her in death on Sept. 15, 1975. After their marriage, the Olivers spent about a year in Neosho, MO, after which they farmed. They farmed first on the Bundy farm at Trenton and then for about 38 years they owned and operated the farm at Bland, MO. For the past 34 years, Mrs. Oliver had lived in Pueblo, Colo., to be near her two daughters. She was a very committed Christian. The last several years she was a member of the Northside Christian Church in Pueblo. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Aileen Warfield; a son, Dale Oliver; and one grandson. Her survivors include two children, James M. (Mary Lou) Oliver Sr., and Ruth Ann (Ernest) Gallegos; and a son-in-law, Ray Warfield. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Interment has taken place in Owensville, MO.
