HOOD
Cleta Adeline Ogden Farrell Miller Hood, the daughter of Benjamin Edgar and Luella Umbenhower Ogden, was born April 25, 1909, at Levey, Iowa and passed away Jan. 28, 1992, at the Des Moines General Hospital at the age of 82 years.
She was a homemaker and a longtime resident of Chariton. She and her husband, Floyd Hood, moved to Chariton from Des Moines in 1969.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, two brothers, a son, Richard and recently her husband, Floyd.
Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Goodwin of Lucas; and sons, Gene Farrell of Lucas, John Farrell of Derby, Larry Farrell of Pompano Beach, Fla. and David Farrell of Pembroke Pines, Fla. Also 27 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a sister, Veda Zika of Des Moines; and an aunt, Filena Franklin of Des Moines.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 1 at 11 a.m. at the Chariton Cemetery. The service was conducted by the Rev. Russell Farrell. Interment was in the Chariton Cemetery.
