Mrs. Barfield was born August 8, 1936 in Atmore, Alabama, the daughter of the late Ottie Odom and Agadean Bass Odom.
She was predeceased by by a daughter Ann Bissette.
She is survived by her spouse, James Woodrow Barfield of Goose Creek, Berkeley, SC, Three Daughters: Helen Bryars of Bay Minette, AL Marty Chandler of Mt. Olive, NC Chasity Allen of Charleston, SC One son: Woody Barfield of Summerville, SC Brother-in-law: Stevie Barfield of Goose Creek, SC, Eleven Great-grandchildren: seven grand children.
