Brooklyn- Lori Oatley Altdorf of Brooklyn CT. passed away suddenly on Friday, November 14,2014, at the age of 52. She was the daughter of Herbert Oatley and the late Jacqueline Oatley. She leaves behind two cherished daughters, Shawna and Karissa Altdorf whom she loved so dearly. Lori enjoyed the beach, traveling, spending time with her family and being with her dog Snookie. Lori served the public at several restaurants for more than 30 years making her customers feel special by her sincere love of people, as evidenced by the huge turnout at her funeral mass.
Lori leaves behind Francisco Hernandez whom she cared for deeply, a sister Roberta Flaherty, a brother Herb Oatley, a sister Michele Klein, and a brother Michael Oatley and her former husband Ron Altdorf.
Note: Some of Lori's ashes were scattered along the ocean front in Newport Rhode Island and some are interred in the Oatley family plot as she wished.
