Funeral services for Happiloma Farlow, 90, formerly of Siam, will be held this Tuesday at 2 pm at the Shum-Novinger Funeral Home in Bedford with burial in Memory Cemetery at new Market. The Highland Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, of Siam, will conduct services also.
Mrs Farlow died Sept 12, 1986 at Ft Walton Beach, Fl.
She was a native of the Siam area, born April 14, 1896. She and her husband, Floyd, had operated a business in Siam. She lived in Florida for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1955, her parents and three brothers.

Happilona O'Dell Farlow, daughter of Mahlon O'Dell and Alice Dugan O'Dell was born in Taylor County, Iowa, April 14, 1898. Her mother passed away when she was eight years old and she made her home with her grandparents Dugan. She attended both grade school and Bedford High School.
In 1920 she was united in marriage to Floyd W. Farlow and they lived in Siam, Iowa here they owned and operated a grocery store, locker plant and garage.
Three children were born to them: Francis, Donald and Jeanette.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd W. Farlow in 1955; her parents; three brothers; Louie who died in France during World War I; George and Harry and one sister, Mary Wehrkamp.
She is survived by her children: Francis Farlow and his wife, Mary Lois of Emmetsburg, Iowa; Donald and his wife, Ruth of Nampa, Idaho; Jeanette and her husband, George Reed of Pensacola, Florida; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Cynthia Hopson of California and Maude McClellan of Douglas, Wyoming; cousins; other relatives and friends.
She and her husband moved to Fort Walton Beach, Florida in 1954 to be near her daughter.
She was a member of the Siam Methodist Church and later transferred to the First United Methodist Church of Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She was a member of Highland Chapter #528, Order of Eastern Star, Siam, Iowa.
