GREAT FALLS—Lucille Frances (O'Connell) Corr, 86, passed away on St. Patrick's Day, Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Benefis Hospital in Great Falls.
Lucille was born on October 31, 1928 to Thomas F. "Butch" and Josephine (Cebulla) O'Connell, the tenth child of twelve. She was raised on the Westside where she attended Franklin School. Lucille married William F. "Lefty" Corr and together they raised two sons. She worked at the Bon, as a retail receiving clerk for many years and following her retirement she worked for the Great Falls Public Schools in the kitchen. Lucille also worked in the kitchen at the Senior Citizens Center.
She was a lifelong member of the St. Joseph's Church. In the early 60's, she was the pitcher for the first women's softball league in Great Falls. Lucille was also an avid bowler. One of the highlights of her life was being able to take a trip to Ireland with some of her siblings.
Lucille is survived by her son, grandson, daughter-in-law, two brothers, two step-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lefty; son Ronald Corr; brothers George, Buck, Harold and Fritz O'Connell; sisters Evelyn Hocevar, Helen Sisko, Virginia Charon, Peggy Christian and Mary Ann O'Connell.
