Margaret Adeline NUNNELLEY was first married to Willis Lee SCOTT in Calhoun County, Alabama. They had one son, John Willis Lee SCOTT. Willis Lee SCOTT died in the Civil War in the Spring of 1865 - he never knew his son, J.W.L. SCOTT.
Margaret then married Francis L. "Frank" LITTLE, son of Elmina LITTLE and Daniel DODSON.
Elmina LITTLE then married William Thomas Scott in Calhoun County. He was the brother of Willis Lee SCOTT. They had three children:
1) Martha June SCOTT
2) Mary Elizabeth SCOTT
3) John William Thomas SCOTT
As did his brother Willis Lee, William Thomas SCOTT died in CSA service during the Civil War. Before the end of the war, Elmina also died leaving 4 orphaned children.
Her oldest son, Francis L. "Frank" LITTLE, then married Margsret Adeline NUNNALLEY SCOTT, the widow of his step father's brother, Willis Lee SCOTT.
Adeline and Frank Little moved around a lot and lived in Florida for a while before settling near Ider in DeKalb County about 1885. Frank's half brother John William Thomas Scott was partially raised by Frank and Adeline and he came to DeKalb County with them, married, farmed, lived and died there.
Adeline and Frank had 8 more children together.
