Leah June Cook, 84, of Fayetteville died Feb. 17, 2004, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born Nov. 20, 1919, in Clearwater, Idaho, to John and Lou Ann Yingst Northup. She was a lifetime resident of the area and worked for Campbell Soup for 28 years.
Survivors include seven children, Martha Azalea McGarrah of Springtown, Donna Ann Sisco of Osage, Ira Junior Cook of Springdale, Carl Rudy Cook of Springtown, Marion Timmie Cook of Rogers, Stanley Kenny Cook of Springdale and Genoah Fayleen Conner of Cave Springs; one sister, Annie Louise Bailey of Farmington; one brother, Kenneth Mercer of Joplin, Mo.; 21 grandchildren; many great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale.
Arrangements are by Sisco Chapel in Springdale.
