Florence A. Buelow, 89, of Green Bay, died Friday morning, June 24, 2016 at the Cottages Memory Care Center in Oconto Falls.
Florence Alta Margerie Buelow was born on December 20, 1926 in Oshkosh the oldest child of John and Anna (Greening) Niles. She grew up in De Pere and Green Bay and graduated from Green Bay East High School. Florence attended school in Minnesota to be a Medical Technologist but returned home to the family farm to care for her six siblings when her mother became ill, never finishing her schooling. On June 12, 1947, she married Delmar Buelow of Clintonville and raised their family in Green Bay. She was a 30 year associate of the H.C. Prange Co. in Green Bay. Florence was a buyer in the record department, then promoted to floor manager and finished her career there in Human Resources, retiring in 1987.
Florence is survived by her daughter, Cris (Neil) Bray, Redding, CA; granddaughters, Mackenzie (Neil Chazin) Bray; Hillary Bray, both of San Francisco; Brianne (Jeran) Leymaster, Davis, CA; 3 great grandsons, Orrin, Clayton, Noah, living in California; sisters, Phyllis (Ken) Prestine, Marinette; Dorothy Burke, Green Bay; many loving sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar; daughter, Connie Kramer; brothers, Duane Niles; John Niles; and Robert Niles; and her sister, Lucy Herwald.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Faith Lutheran Church, 2335 S. Webster Ave., from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2016 at the church with Pastor Joshua Errer officiating. Entombment will take place in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
