Ada Newman was born June 3, 1914, in Granbury, Texas. She was a devoted wife of 62 years, a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Smithfield Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl E. Newman.
Survivors: Sons, Charles R. Newman and his wife, Gail, Harold Newman and his wife, Shirley, Bill Newman and his wife, Carole, and Ronnie Newman and his wife, Frieda; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
