Alice spent most of her life on a farm near her birth place in Trego County, Kansas. She taught piano and was a member of the Music Teachers Association. Approximately eight years before her death, she and her husband moved to Johnson County, Kansas.
Alice was survived by her husband, a daughter, four sons, five sisters and eleven grandchildren.
