WELLSVILLE Frank Nevin Nesbit, 80, died 7:10 a.m. Monday, December 3, 2007, at York Hospital . He was the husband of the late Betty J. ( Anderson ) Nesbit. He was born February 9, 1927, in Wellsville, a son of the late Frank E. and Elsie (Nebinger) Nesbit. Frank was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in Germany. He had 22 years of service as a rural mail carrier for the Wellsville Post Office. Frank was a life member of Dillsburg VFW and a member of Shiloh American Legion Post 791 and the National Rifle Association. Frank is survived by a son, Steven M. Nesbit and his wife, Barbara of Lancaster; and a granddaughter, Stephanie A. Nesbit of Joppa, Md. He was preceded in death by a brother, Vance "Skip" Nesbit; and a sister, Joyce Staub. Following cremation, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the memorial service 3 p.m. Friday at Emig Funeral Home, 47 N. Queen St., Dover. Officiating will be Chaplain Peter Edwards of Providence Place.
