Mrs. Ellen M. Cole, 22201 Peach Tree Road, Boyds, died Monday, June 3. She was the wife of the late Leonard S. Cole.
A daughter of the late Walter and Agnes Nelson, Mrs. Cole is survived by 10 children, Joann Boxall, Becky Mitchell, Valerie Cole, Pat Cole and Mack Cole, all of Boyds, Virginia Arnold of Dickerson, Ruth Tabor of Florida, Doris White and William Cole, both of Cleveland, and Helen Sharitz of Burkittsville; 50 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Cole was predeceased by two sons, John Cole and Douglas Cole.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, June 5-6, at the Tyson Wheeler Funeral Home, 1331 Rockville Pike, Rockville. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 7, at the Barnesville Baptist Church, Barnesville. Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
