BETTENDORF -- Services for Beverly Jean Dockery, Bettendorf, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Bettendorf. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Long Grove, Iowa. Visitation is 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Beverly died Saturday, June 10, 2000, at Bettendorf Health Care Center. Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport, is in charge of arrangements. She was employed as an X-ray technician for John T. Johnson, D.O., P.C. Beverly Nelson was born Jan. 2, 1938, in Rockford, Ill., to Donald and Teresa (Provasi) Nelson. She was a longtime member of ASRT. She enjoyed traveling, bird watching, dancing, music and especially her beloved dog, Jansen. Memorials may be made to Davenport Gilda's Club or Genesis Hospice, Davenport. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Terri Dockery, Eldridge, Iowa, and Shawn and Peggy Dockery, Bettendorf; a son, Shannon Dockery, Bettendorf; grandchildren, Jason Schadt, Jessica Schadt, Bailey Dockery, Shane Dockery, Alex Dockery and Connor Dockery; and a special friend, Dr. John T. Johnson Sr. She was preceded in death by her parents.
