MRS. FRED ARNOLD
Mrs. Fred Arnold, 59, of South Vienna, died at 8:35 p.m. Monday, in Springfield City Hospital, following eight months of failing health. She was a widow.
She was born in Clark County, Nov. 22, 1885, and had resided in this county all of her life.
Mrs. Arnold had lived in South Vienna for the past 20 years. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Catawba, and of Rebekah Lodge No. 27.
Survivors include three daughters, Hildreth Arnold, at home, Mrs. James Riley, of Newark and Mrs. Orville Thomas, of Springfield; a brother, Shelly Neer, of near Springfield; and five grandchildren.
The body was removed to the Sprague funeral home in South Charleston, and will be taken to the residence Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Catawba First Methodist Church by the Rev. Clark A. Denison, of Dayton. Burial will be in McConkey Cemetery.
