He was born September 20, 1924 to Edward Clarence and Mabel Alice (Curtis) Nash.
Edward married Patsy Pendergast, who preceded him in death on April 25, 2008.
Mr. Nash served in the United States Army. He was in the 99th Infantry and served in the Battle of the Bulge, World War II. He retired from Rockwell International as Head Engineer. He enjoyed woodworking, building model ships, gardening, cars, and travel. He was a former member of the Atchison Library Board and the V.F.W. of Atchison, Kan.
Mr. Nash was also preceded in death by two previous wives; Emma Lou Spilman and Virginia E. Necessary; great-grandson, Mason A. Adams; and his parents.
Survivors: two daughters, Sandra A. Moles and Nancy L. Nash, both of St. Joseph; step son, John Pendergast of St. Louis; three grandchildren, Bridgett R. Blasi, Brandon N. Moles, and Katie J. Moles.
Services: 10 a.m. Monday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
