Helen Randolph Naney was born in Ellis County, Texas on February 02, 1913 to Roy Naney and Jennie Bell Seaboalt. While serving as a Specialist 2nd Class in the US Navy in WWII, she met Tom Johnson Griffis of Hamilton County, Texas. They were married after the war on April 4, 1947 in Collin County, Texas.  He was 41 and she was 34 years old at the time of their marriage.  They had no children.

After Helen died in 1978, her widowed husband Tom married second on October 02, 1979 to Shirley Campbell.

Tom married a third time on July 04, 1992 to Barbara S. Mayberry.

Tom died in Bosque County, Texas on October 30, 1995. It is not known at this time where he was buried. If not next to Helen in Hughes Cemetery, then possibly in Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton County where his parents are buried. Or, possibly in Bosque County where he died.  His death certificate should help answer this question.
