Douglas G. Nagle
Douglas G. Nagle, 72, of Shelbyville, died Sunday, April 13, 2008, at St. Francis Hospital South in Indianapolis.
Born Dec. 18, 1935, in Wanamaker, he was the son of Ralph P. and E. Deloris (Perry) Nagle. He married Roselyn Schneider on Aug. 31, 1996, in Shelbyville, and she survives.
Other survivors include daughters, Vicky (husband, Greg) Clark of Acton and Denise Lail of Lexington, Ky.; a son, Butch (wife, Gayle) Nagle of Indianapolis; a brother, R. Phil (wife, Janet) Nagle of Indianapolis; a sister, Donna (husband, Ron) Brown of Indianapolis; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Nagle retired from Kroger Dairy in 1998 after working in maintenance for 27 years.
He was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
Mr. Nagle also was a member of the Waldron Masonic Lodge, the Shelby County Western Riders, the American Quarter Horse Association and various other groups and associations.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Stirling-Gerber Chapel, 5950 E. Thompson Road in Indianapolis.
A celebration of life service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
