Janet J. Kuttler, 84, of Davenport, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Genesis Medical Center East Campus in Davenport. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 8, 2015 at St. Mark Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Friday, August 7, 2015 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the church. Burial will be at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church.
Janet was born on July 19, 1931 in Davenport, the daughter of Louis and Clara (Jacobsen) Nagel. She married Walter "Bud" Kuttler on August 9, 1952 in Davenport. He preceded her in death.
Janet enjoyed trips to college events with her family attending graduations, band concerts, show choir, and award ceremonies. She loved to travel with friends and especially liked being with her Hep Cat girls. As an active member in her church she loved baking cookies and being on the decorating committee.
Survivors include her children, Steve (Barbara) Kuttler and Judy (Richard) Hoffmann; grandchildren, Eric (Brittany) Hoffmann, Emily (Frederick II) Swihart, Heidi Hoffmann (Travis Claussen), Claire Kuttler, Benjamin Kuttler, Anne Kuttler and Daniel Kuttler; great grandchildren, Grant Hoffmann, Olivia Hoffmann and Frederick Swihart III; and sister, Verna Hamann.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Leon Nagel.
