SHREVEPORT, LA- Funeral services for Betty Jean "BJ" Myles Barrett, 64, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at New Testament United Pentacostal Church, 4400 Fairy Ave., with Pastor Timothy Hunter, Sr., Pastor Tabernacle B.C., officiating. Burial will follow at Round Grove Cemetery. Family hour will be held from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2008 at Tabernacle B.C., 3311 W. 70th St.
Mrs. Barrett passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at her home following a lengthy illness. She was a LPN.
She is survived by her husband, Archie Barrett; 3 sons; 5 daughters; mother, Lela Johnson; 7 sisters; 7 brothers; 28 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
