Calvin Coolidge Myers, oldest son of Mrs. Josephine Parker, was born at Mt. Zion, Iowa May 10, 1926 and departed this life 1936 at the tender age of nine years, 10 months and 4 days. He was a bright lovable child and was in the 4th grade of the Mt. Zion school. He will be greatly missed by his schoolmates and in the home.
He leaves to mourn their loss his mother, Mrs. Josephine Parker; two half-brothers, James and Charles Parker; half-sister, Jo Ann; also his grandmother, Mrs. James Myers of Mt. Zion.
Funeral services were held in the home of Mrs. James Myers in Mt. Zion Thursday in charge of the Rev. C.A. Boulton. Interment was in Purdom cemetery.
