November 2, 1902, the Messenger of Death called for Mrs. Minerva Myers Hart, after many months of pain and suffering which she meekly bore with christian resignation. On the afternoon of November 3, religious services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. H. O. McDonald, at the home, in the presence of a large company of relatives and friends, when she was consigned to her last resting place, in the New Providence Cemetery, where sleeps an infant daughter, who within a few months after her birth was transplanted to the heavenly paradise; also a son, who less than two years ago, was cut down in the bloom of youth. Mrs. Hart, soon after her marriage, which took place over a score of years ago, united with the Presbyterian Church, in which she lived a consistent and faithful member. Beside her husband, James Hart, she is survived by four sons, McClintock, Furman, Albert and Russell and one daughter, Frances. The last three are young in years and will sadly miss the loving counsel and guidance of their best earthly friend. The deceased was a sister of the late Lewis Myers, who passed away a few months ago.
