Before retiring in 2003, June worked as a Home Health Aid and Nursing Home Aid for several companies. She attended Grace Church in Mooresville. Previously, she attended River City Community Church in San Antonio, TX and Enchanted Hills Baptist Church in Tucson, AZ. She loved to crochet and make hats for the homeless and cancer patients. She lived in Mooresville most recently, also in San Antonio, TX, Tucson, Arizona, and her birthplace of Lafayette, IN.
June is survived by five children, Eugene (Diana) Douglas of Mooresvile, Wayne (Elizabeth) Douglas of Rensselaer, Keith Douglas of KS, Janet (Jerry) Paulsrud of CO, Pamela (Roger) Conley of TN; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Brenda Douglas of AZ. June is preceded in death by her parents; previous spouse, Eugene Douglas Sr.; two brothers, Earl and Grover; and four sisters, Mary, Jean, Norma, Charlene.
It was June's wishes to be cremated and not have any service.
