Lois Ruth Murphy Carper was born December 15, 1921 in Denver, Colorado the daughter of Patrick and Margret Duis Murphy.
She married Marlin "Bud" Carper on March 3, 1944 in Casper, Wyoming. Upon his death she moved her and her boys to Clearfield, Utah to be closer to her sister Verna Mae.
Ruth worked at Hill AFB as a Supply Clerk.
Surviving are her three sons,0 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and her sister of Clearfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband "Bud" and her brother Gerald.
