RUTLEDGE, March 17 --- Funeral services for W. T. Murphy, 75, who died at his home on the Turley Pike Sunday after a brief illness, were held Tuesday, at Rocky Summit Church in Grainger County. Rev. W. E. Browning officiated. Burial was in the family cemetery. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Mary Collins Murphy, two daughters, Miss Gladys Murphy, and Mrs. Janie Rerrau, of Knoxville, seven sons, Arthur Murphy, of Olin, IA., Lee, George, Riley, Weaver, Hartley, and Mosco Murphy of this county; two sisters, Mrs. Della Mae Stuart, of Brazil, Ind., and Mrs. Francis Smith of Fort Wayne, Ind.
