She was a retired Sales Associate for Rodes Department Stores.
She is survived by her daughter, Tina L. Young; son, Derek R. Guthrie (Bambi); sister, Louise Huddleston; grandchildren, Adam L. Young (Hannah), Amanda L. Hardison (Brian), Russell R. Guthrie (Jill), Kyle R. Guthrie (Stacy), the father of her children, Philip Guthrie; and four great-grandchildren, Adilynn, Layla, Lola and Zoe.
Her funeral service was at noon on Monday, March 5, 2012 at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy. Burial followed in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
