Miss Effie Norma Mungen Passes Away

Miss Effie Norma Mungen, a sister of Mrs. J. H. Borger, died at 7:30 Sunday evening from the effects of a nervous breakdown suffered last summer in Los Angeles, Calif. Miss Mungen was born in this city Dec. 4, 1861, and was a daughter of the late William Mungen, former representative in congress from this district, and has many friends among the older residents of the city with whom she passed her girlhood. For the last year she has made her home with Mrs. Borger.

The funeral will be held from the Borger home, and will be private. Final arrangements have not been completed.
