Charles J. Moseley Sr. of Avenue of Pines died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. A lifelong resident of Macon, he attended Lanier High School for Boys and served in the Georgia National Guard during World War II. He was a lifelong member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was manager of the Eagles Club for a number of years. He was the retired owner of The Sugar Bowl and C&C Package Store.
Survivors: a son, Charles Moseley Jr. of Macon; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and a sister, Martha Scoville of Macon.
Services: 11:00 AM Thursday at Riverside Cemetery. The Revs. Charles Asbell and Robert E Allen will officiate. Visitation: The family may be contacted at 145 Castlegate Drive, Macon. Hart's Mortuary has charge of arrangements.
