Rex A. Morton, 75, Frankfort, died Thurs
day, Oct. 21, 2004, at Onaga,Kansas.
Visitation was Sunday from 10 a.m. to
8 p.m. and family received that evening
at Padden Funeral Chapel. A service was
Oct. 25 at the United Methodist Church,
Frankfort. The Reverend Karen Miller
officiated.

Janet Plegge was organist and Carissa
Shirley and Holly Brandt sang "Be Not
Afraid" and "Here I Am Lord."

Pallbearers were Lance Cline,Austin
Cline, Dennis Ahlvers, Bob Alley,
Harold Armstrong, Herschel Mentgen
and Marion Boudreau.

Honorary pallbearers were Raymond Ahlvers,
Melvin Ahlvers, Eldon Ewing, Mark Rinehart,
Bert Wessel, Max Stowell and Everett
Spunaugle.

Burial was in Antioch Cemetery,
southwest of Frankfort.

Rex Morton was born Aug. 13,1929,to George
Morton and Dorothy (Dodd) Morton in Bigelow.
He married Loleta Ann Warnica and was a
farmer-stockman.

He was a member of the United Methodist
Church and was trustee of the Bigelow
Township board. He enjoyed cattle,farming,
cattle shows and spending time with family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter,
Annette Cline, Onaga; and two grandchildren.
