Talton Morton, a pioneer of Pike County, died on Christmas Eve at his home near Winslow, at the age of 81 years and six months. He came to this county from Kentucky when a young man and has seen the county grow from almost a wilderness to a thickly settled and populous county. His funeral was conducted Saturday and internment at Flat Creek cemetery.
