Almida (Morris) Baker, 82, of Broken Bow, passed away Sun-day, Nov. 2, 2008, at Idabel. She was born June 19, 1926, in Rin-gold. She was affiliated with the Assembly of God faith.
She enjoyed fishing, hunting, sewing, crocheting, quilting, cooking, camping and cooking on a camp fire. She loved spend-ing time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Lucille Staggs; three brothers, Frank Wolfe, Willie Wolfe, Mack Wolfe; and one sister, Roxie Morris.
Almida is survived by three sons, Sam Morris and wife Jean of Millerton, Buddy Morris and wife Linda of Broken Bow, and Vic Morris of Swink; four daugh-ters, Francis Cunningham and husband Dewayne of Swink, Jo Ann Sisk and husband Donnie of Grannis, Ark., Peggy Whisenhunt of Kingston, Ethel Rushing and husband Kip of Catoosa; two brothers, J.D. Wolfe and wife Shirley of Millerton, Johnny Wolfe and wife Barbie of Val-liant; two sisters, Geneva Watts and Vallie Gibson and husband Elton of Broken Bow; one uncle, Ed Master and wife Mary of Ant-lers; 21 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today, Nov. 4, 2008, at the Brumley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Ft. Towson Cemetery, Ft. Towson. The Rev. Melvin Gibson will officiate.
