Mrs. Hattie Morris, 73, died at her home on Poplar and West Streets, Thursday , following a few days illness. Mrs. Morris was the widow of the late Levi Morris. She had lived the greater part of her life in Caldwell and was a member of the Christian Church. Surviving are three daughters and two sons; Mrs. H. A. Murphy, Zanesville; Mrs. Ada Stricker, Whipple; Mrs. Lena Hogue, Florence addition; Virgil Morris of the home, Delmar Morris, Zanesville. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the B. B. Wheeler Funeral Home with Rev. T. Sanford Williams officiating. Burial was made in the Olive Cemetery.
