Margaret Morgan Allen, age 88, of Hester's Store Road died Tuesday afternoon, April 3, 2012 at her home. She was born in Prospect Hill in Caswell County. Mrs. Allen was the daughter of the late William Rainey Morgan, Sr. and Lessie Thaxton Morgan.

She was wife of the late Newton Allen and preceded in death by her two sisters, Irene Morgan and Mae Morgan Curasi, and her two brothers, Dr. William Rainey Morgan, Jr. and Henry Speck Morgan.

Mrs. Allen was a faithful and active member of Lea's Chapel United Methodist Church. She attended Elon College.

Surviving are her three children, Ronnie Allen and wife, Sandra, Rick Allen and wife, Lynn, and Rita Allen Satterfield and husband, Tommy all of Roxboro; two grandchildren, Morgan Allen Stovall, husband, Alan and Megan Allen; two great grandchildren, Nate and Maddie Stovall.

The funeral will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 6, 2012 at Lea's Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Brian Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the Hester Family Cemetery.
