Morale, Kayla Jean Ivey Funeral services for Kayla Jean Ivey Morale, 48, of Forney will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Casa View Baptist Church with the rev. Karl Tingle officiating. graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Cannon Cemetery in Cannon, Texas. Mrs. Morale died on Monday, December 22nd in Dallas. She was born February 28, 1960 in Dallas, Texas to Gloria Weeks Ivey and the late John D. Ivey. She attended Skyline High School and attended Eastfield College and the University of Texas at Arlington. She was a homemaker and an avid gardener. Kayla was a member of Casa View Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Nick Morale, II; her loving mother, Gloria W. Ivey; children Hanah Corroo and Amanda Stone. She is also survived by her brother Kevin Ivey and wife, Charlotte; niece, Kathryn Ivey and nephew, Jonathan Ivey. A gathering of family and friends will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, December 26th at Eastgate Funeral Home.

Kayla was the adopted daughter of John D. Ivey and Gloria Dean Weeks/Ivey. She has an adopted brother who is not blood kin, Kevin Wesley Ivey. She was first married to Glen Terry Miller and has two daughter with him, Hannah Jeanette Miller/Corroo and Amanda Lee Miller/Stone.

After her divorce from Glenn, she later married Nick Morale, II. She died of pulmonary edema. She was only forty-eight years of age.

Her father, John D. Ivey, the owner of Ivey Lumber Company died about 15 years ago.
