Louisa and Miles Morain may both have died in Spring Valley Township (Perry), Dallas County, Iowa. They were living with their daughter Gladys in that location at the time of the 1950 Census. At some point, Louisa returned to Maidstone, Kent, England for a visit. Her second immigration was just months before she married Miles Morain on 12 September 1897 in Jefferson, Greene County, Iowa:
SS Campania from Liverpool, England, on 3 July 1897 to Ellis Island, New York, on 10 July 1897. Joining 2 brothers in Bagley, Guthrie, Iowa. Reported being in United States 1892-1897.
