Elizabeth Mayrice Moore Graham, 88, of Marietta, died September 25, 2012. Funeral services were held at Noonday Baptist Church, Marietta, with Rev. Larry Fillingim and Dr. Richard Holden officiating. Interment followed at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery, Marietta.

Mrs. Graham was born May 23, 1924, in Bulloch County, near Statesboro, Georgia. She was a 1940 graduate of Millen High School, and a graduate of Draughon Business College in Savannah, Georgia, starting her career as a legal secretary for a law firm in Savannah.

She married Harold E. Graham in 1944 while he was serving in the Army during World War II. Mrs. Graham served faithfully alongside her husband in the ministry after graduating from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. They served at Forest Hill Baptist Church, Parrottsville, Tennessee, Fairburn Baptist Association, Red Oak, Georgia, Ben Hill-Irwin Baptist Association, Fitzgerald, Georgia, Flint River Baptist Association, Griffin Georgia, and Noonday Baptist Association, Marietta, Georgia. She served at Noonday Baptist Association until her retirement in 2010. She was a member of Noonday Baptist Church, Marietta, since 1975. Mrs. Graham loved her Lord Jesus Christ, serving him all her life. She loved her family and will be greatly missed.

The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers of Ross Memorial Health Care Center for their care during her final days. Survivors include daughters Suzanne and James Daniel, Sr., Dahlonega, Carol and Dan Bruce, Sr., Acworth, Janette and Dan Tingle, Sr., Locust Grove, Glenda and Sam Crumbley, III, Woodstock, and son, Harold E. Graham, Jr. and his wife, Lynn, Douglasville; eleven grandchildren Dan Bruce, Jr., James Daniel, Jr., Travis Tingle, Glenn Bruce, Benjamin Tingle, Catherine Daniel Leopard, Dawn Daniel Simmons, Jonathan Crumbley, Tanya Graham Gordon, Elizabeth Graham Shelnutt, and Mary Crumbley Rucker; sixteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Dr. Harold E. Graham, Sr. and parents Heber James Moore, Sr. and Amanda Elizabeth Greene Moore; brothers Heber James Moore, Jr. and Charles Greene Moore; and sister Marjorie Lee Moore Edenfield, all of Savannah, Georgia.
