An organist. Studied at UC Berkeley and later in New York under noted concert pianist, Josef Lhevinne. He was choir director at Trinity Episcopal Church in San Francisco for 30 years and taught piano at Mills College in Oakland. He was a member of the SF Opera Association and the SF Symphony Association.
