Her parents were Orville and Sara Moore. Betty was raised in Moorehead Minnesota, and Baker, Montana. Betty was raised with three siblings. She had an older brother Ervin, sister Bonnie, and little brother Larry Joe.
She took part in softball. Betty graduated from Baker High School in 1965. Her favorite class in high school was math.
While growing up, some of her best friends were Linda Janousek, and James and Beverly Blue. Later in life, she became friends with the people of the Bloomington Little League. They were Chris, Pat, Evelyn, and Sharon. On March 1, 1966 Betty exchanged wedding vows with Robert Lee Beeler at Silver Bells Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The ability to be just a "kid at heart" helped her in raising her own children. They were also blessed with 13 grandchildren, Dean, Kendra, Kyle, Shawn, Harmony, Melody, Amber, Robert, Kayla, Cynthia, Damian, Sara, David, Michelle, Johnathon, and James. Her primary occupation was as a homemaker.
An "arts and crafts" type, Betty liked creating and making things. Her favorite pursuits were knitting, crocheting, ceramics, and baseball. Recreational sports included bowling and softball. Betty was also something of a sports fan and enjoyed watching her favorite events whenever she got the opportunity. Tops on her list were Minnesota Vikings football.
Throughout his later years, Betty was an active member of the Bloomington Little League Baseball & Softball. Betty was a member of several community groups, serving as the scorekeeper for the Bloomington Little League.
Favorite vacations included the Grand Canyon, Bedrock, South Dakota, and motor home vacations to Minnesota and Montana.
One of Betty's favorites was Bootsie, a Cocker spaniel mix. They were best friends for 17 years. Her family was rounded out by her 2 dogs Cuddles & Puchie, 4 Siamese cats, and 1 Oscar.
Her new life involved relocating to San Bernardino, California. In retirement, she found new pleasure in managing, being team mom, and coaching her grandchildren's baseball and softball teams.
Betty passed away on January 5, 2007 at Kaiser Hospital in Fontana, California. Betty fought a brave battle against cancer. She is survived by her sister Bonnie, her 2 brothers Ervin and Larry, her 4 children, Terri, Kimberly, Deon, Jessyka, her 13 grandchildren, Dean, Kendra, Kyle, Shawn, Harmony, Melody, Amber, Kayla, Robert, Cynthia, Damian, Sara, David, and 3 great grandchildren, Michelle, Johnathon, and James. Services were held at Green Acres Mortuary Chapel, Bloomington, California. Betty was laid to rest in Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California.
