Samuel M. Moore was born in Ohio Dec. 28, 1853, and died at his home near Crocker July 16,1930, at the age of 76 years, 6 months and 18 days.

He was married to Nancy E. Moore and to this union nine children were born, six boys and three girls. One daughter died in infancy. His wife and the following children survive him: Ora Bell Davis, Charley F. Moore, Fred Moore, of Crocker, Albert Moore of Index, Wash., Earnest Moore of Gladstone, N. Dak, Etta Neal of Sheridan, Wyo., Allan and William H. Moore of Crocker. He also leaves 36 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

About 38 years ago he united with the Christian church. Was a member of that faith until about 10 years ago when he united with the Pentacostal church and remained a faithful servant of the Lord until Jesus called him.

Funeral services were conducted at the residence Wednesday, July 16, by Rev. Scott. Interment was in Crocker Cemetery under direction Hoops & Sons Funeral Directors.
