OBITUARY :
MRS. J. T. ELGIN died at her home, 914 Summit avenue, at 10 o'clock last night of complications, after an illness of two weeks, aged 76 years.

Shewas born in the Weverton section of the county and was the daughter of the late Jesse Moore, who for 18 years was superintendent of the Maryland House of Correction. She was a member of the Presbyterian church of Harpers Ferry.

Besides her husband, she is survived by the following sons: Leroy, member of the staff of the Maryland Penal Farm; Albert M., J. Lester, W. Lee, Cameron and E. Fisk, all of this city; 14 grandchildren; two brothers, Edward Moore, of Knoxville, Md., and Frank Moore, this city, and one sister, Mrs. Lee Garrott, this city.

Funeral services on Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock by Rev. Dr. Byron Stehl; interment in Rest Haven cemetery.
