Melba Beck, 84, passed away Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Richland Hills Christian Church. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olivet. Melba was born Dec. 4, 1929, in Spanish Fort to Eugene and Grace Moore. She was a member of Richland Hills Christian Church. Melba retired from the Social Security Administration in 1979. She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Beck. Survivors: Daughter, Linda Baker and husband, Alan; grandson, Chad Baker; granddaughter, Christa Springston and husband, Alan; great-grandsons, Jack Springston and Sam Springston; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
