Mrs. L. W. Dutcher

On Wednesday evening, September 13th, after months of patient suffering; Mrs. L.W. Dutcher entered into rest.  She had lived at Westford for twelve years and had endeared herself to all.  She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church, and a valued member of the Ladies' Aid society, where she will be greatly missed.  She was a woman of great ability, as a teacher, a musician and artist.  She was the mother of six children, two dying in infancy, one son, Arthur, in his young manhood.  Surviving are her husband, two sons and one daughter, the Rev. Belden Dutcher of Oswego, Mrs. Louise Clark and Fred Dutcher of Westford.  The funeral was held from her home, Saturday morning, the Rev. George Summerson officiating, with interment in the family plot at Hartwick.  The floral offerings from friends and neighbors were profuse and beautiful. - Our Westford Reporter.
