Beloved Woman Passes Away:
Mrs. Mary Anderson, wife of Jas. T. Anderson, died at her home in this city last Friday afternoon, after an illness of several weeks. She was about 75 years of age and was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband and five children, Mrs. J. A. Drake and Jas. M. Anderson of this city, Joel H. Anderson of Knoxville, Oliver H. Anderson of Oneida, and Walter Anderson of Harriman.
Funeral services were conducted at the home on Jefferson Street Saturday afternoon by J. Pettey Ezell, her pastor, a large crowd being present to pay their last respect to one who was beloved by all who knew her.
The remains were laid to rest in the city cemetery, the many beautiful floral tributes covering the grave.
