On Dec. 10, 1947, in Medford, OR, she married J. Donald Monteith, by whom she is survived. Prior thereto, she had completed nursing school at Crawford Long Hospital, Atlanta Ga.
The Monteiths lived in Klamath Falls from 1957 to 1970, when they moved to Medford. Sue was a registered nurse at Providence Hospital from 1970 until her retirement in 1987.
She owned and operated Susie's Antiques in Medford for 15 years. She was a member of Foothills Baptist Church and PEO Sisterhood Chapter EQ.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a son, two daughters, a brother; two sisters; and three grandchildren. Three brothers preceded her in death.
