Mrs. J. Kyle Montague, former resident of Christiansburg, died Wednesday morning at the home of her son, J. K. Montague, in Roanoke. Funeral services ere held at St. Paul M. E. church, South, Christiansburg, Thursday at 3 o'clock. Interment was in Sunset cemetery.

Mrs. Montague was the former Mary Grove Smith and was the last surviving member of her family, Her brother, William Smith of Dublin, died over a year ago.

She was a life long, member of St. Paul's M. E. church. Forthe past few years, she had made her home in Roanoke with her son and at Blacksburg, with her grandson, Dr. David Phlegar.

She is survived by the flowing sons and daughter: j. K. of Roanoke, Mac of Dublin,and Mosby Montague, formerly of Roanoke; and Mrs Jack Frost of Seattle, Washington. A number of Grandsons also survive.
