FLORENCE, Wis. - Virginia "Ginny" L. Mohr-Dollar, 63, of Florence, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014, at the Golden Living Center in Florence.

She was born Sept. 27, 1950, in Crandon, Wis., daughter of Lillian (Wilber) Mohr. Ginny grew up in Laona, Wis., and at the age of 14 moved to Florence and attended school there. She married Anthony Dollar in Niagara, Wis., on Sept. 21, 1998.

Ginny worked for 20 years in Milwaukee as a nurse's aide and later at the Golden Living Center. She was an avid Packers fan, enjoyed knitting, visiting with friends, and loved her cat, Nala.

Ginny is survived by her husband, Tony; one son, Robert Miller of Aurora, Wis; one daughter, Lana Miller of Iron Mountain; three brothers, Frank (Judy) Mohr of Laona, Wis., Matthew (Ruth Ann) Mohr of Pembine, Wis., and Mark (Arlene) Mohr of Niagara; one sister, Peggy (Ted) Hetzer of Crystal Falls; one sister-in-law, Brenda Mohr; three granddaughters, Valerie, Victoria and Cheyeanne; three great-grandchildren, Kayelyn, Ayeva and Damon; many nieces and nephews; many great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

In addition to her mother, Lillian, Ginny was preceded in death by two brothers, Mike Mohr and Charlie Mohr; and nephews, David Mohr and Chas Hetzer.



Burial will be in Commonwealth Cemetery.
